Purchasing Managerial Trainee

We are looking for candidates into our Warsaw-based organization on the position of Purchasing Managerial Trainee

Duration: 6-12 Months

Traineeship Start: immediately

Work schedule: flexible time

This Traineeship is intended to unleash high potential in the best students/fresh alumni coming from Poland’s top universities. The successful internship completion can be a start point for career and can result in a full time offer in P&G Supply Network Solutions Purchases.

We look for candidates who represent leadership behavior, who make things happen, with strong analytical thinking, who are able to crack a problem and find a solution, and those with strong communication skills and emotional intelligence.

We are looking for individuals who set priorities and follow through on commitments, who work effectively with diverse groups of people, and who demonstrate creativity, innovation, and initiative. The best candidate must prove a business sense connected to strong external focus in their thinking, entrepreneurial spirit and discipline in their daily work.

The job scope includes:

Employees in our Purchasing department are responsible for sourcing the Company's multi-billion dollar requirements for goods and services needed to produce world-class consumer products. You will be working with a Purchasing Manager, typically responsible for spending about $10 million annually or more.

Areas of responsibility can range from raw materials, packages and equipment to marketing services, software and outside custom manufacturing services. With the support of your manager, daily training and coaching you will manage your project in a specific area as the commercial expert, recognizing and developing opportunities as you link P&G strategies and business needs to our base of suppliers outside the Company.

You will participate in market analysis, uncovering of business-building and cost-saving opportunities, development and implementation of innovative sourcing strategies, solving of supply problems, conduct of supplier inquiries and negotiations

Wymagania

  • Students of 3rd-5th year or fresh alumni of Master Programs of any faculty
  • 6 to 12 months availability (possibility to work part-time)
  • Very strong leadership, team-spirit, communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Operational discipline, external focus and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Good level of English
  • Excellent MS Office Package skills (especially MS Excel)
  • Microsoft Access database knowledge would be very welcome
